Hebden Bridge

Hebden Bridge is a small market town. It has loads of places to eat and drink. I’m just going to list my favourites as to do every business in town would take forever.


Places to eat and drink in Hebden Bridge

Marco’s Cafe –  Valley Road Hebden Bridge HX7 7BN. T: 01422 649595  One of the best pizzas in the valley if not the county. Also does pasta and calazone/paninis.

The Olive Branch – 21 W End, Hebden Bridge HX7 8UQ. T: 01422 842299 Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant. Delicious food and really great service.

Rim Nam Thai – Butlers Wharf, New Road, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8AF. T: 01422 846888 Thai food, really tasty and such lovely people.

Cardamon –  11 Albert street, Hebden bridge, HX7 8AH. T: 01422 706449 Indian food, good food, quorn and tofu options so veggies/vegans have a bit more choice.

Mooch Cafe-bar – 24 Market St, Hebden Bridge HX7 6AA. T: 01422 846954 Breakfasts, sandwiches, soups, salads and more. Cute little courtyard garden at the back.

As with the places to eat, there is also an abundance of shops in Hebden.

Weighsted – 11 Crown Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8EL. T: 07968 131968 Zero waste shop, everything from plant milks, dried foods and spices to eco friendly household cleaning and personal care items. Bring your own bottles/bags/tubs and buy as much or little as you need.

Pennine Provisions – 21 Crown St, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8EH. T: 01422 844945 Healthcare, sandwich shop and deli. The samosas are so good.

Valley Organics – 16 Market Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7 6AA. T: 01422 846651  local, ethical and organic fruit, veg and wholefoods.

2 Tone comics – 40 Market Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7 6AA. T: 01422 845666 Comic shop, a treasure trove for those who love comics and graphic novels.

The Book Case – 29 Market Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7  6EU. T: 01422 845353 Independent book shop. They have a next day order service if you want a book that is not in stock.

There are also a couple of convenience stores, a co-op, loads of little independent stores. There is a post office, a library, doctors, opticians and art galleries.
