New year, new goals.

I’ve not written anything for ages, what with a new job, hosting Christmas and then getting flooded I have not had the energy. We are slowly getting back to normal, I quit the job as it was sapping the life out of me and as for Christmas, I feel like saying never again.

I have a few goals that I want to achieve this year. I thought I’d jot them down here, mostly as a reminder to myself and hopefully so people can ask me how it is going and occasionally give me a kick up the bum if I appear to be slacking.

The first area is my fitness. I have got so out of shape, so as soon as I have the basement properly cleaned and disinfected I am going to restart the 30 day shred. I am slightly dreading the weigh and measure in, but it has to be done. Once I am feeling stronger I am going to do couch to 5k.

Second is this blog, I want to write more, photograph more and generally be more active within the blogging community, it is something I enjoy and I do miss the support and encouragement.

Next up I want to be more sociable, go out more, do more ‘stuff’, not sure what way this will go, I like the idea of joining a walking group as I find daylight and fresh air lift my mood no end.

The final thing is to be braver, to believe in myself more and not to give up at the first hurdle. There are so many things I want to try and time to do them in gets less with each passing year. So, I am hoping that 2016 is a year of firsts for me.
